Hi there!

We're Shelley and Sam, the founders of Workspace Barossa. We're small business owners and we get it: there are certain challenges that come with working independently or remotely.

Sometimes you need the motivation to get out of your trakkies and block out the two hours you need to smash out a project task.

As a former winemaker and IT guru who has commuted to work in the city for the past 16years, we love thinking outside the box and providing solutions.

We believe that we can do good, nay great things—and be productive in our work from anywhere. And that's how Workspace Barossa was born in July 2019.

Here we strive to provide a professional regional office & meeting space; our community is a welcoming space of focus & support for those in business for themselves as satellite offices or regional teams & entrepreneurs.

To inspire collaborative business & challenge the way we work.

We offer services from hot desking to permanent desks & offices; casual meeting spaces (including workshops); foyer events spaces; and more...

Let's chat about how we can help each other succeed.

Workspace Barossa acknowledges the Ngadjuri, Peramangk and Kaurna people and their ancestral connection to land and pays respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

Our iconic Schrapel building in Tanunda - our space was previously known as the Barossa Music Centre.

Schrapel and Sons established their store in 1884, with this building completed around 1910.
For decades, their emporium supplied everything from haberdashery and glassware to tractors and electrical supplies. But more importantly, it provided a meeting place for the community to come together. The family purchased land from the SA government in 1845. They began as general importers of products but ended up being electrical suppliers and electricians. They sold everything from tractors, shoes and furniture to radios (in the 1920s), glassware and drapery etc. They provided the first electricity for Tanunda District Council in 1920. By the 1950s they were primarily a hardware store.
